Do not build around a headline
A historical award amount or social-media advertisement does not establish current eligibility. Confirm the sponsoring agency, application period, eligible use, matching requirements and official application address.
Prepare the business
Current registration, financial records, a specific project, measurable outcomes, a budget and the ability to document spending can make legitimate funding research more productive.
Watch for fraud
The SBA says its official email addresses end in @sba.gov. Never pay a person who guarantees a government grant or requests credentials through an unverified link.
